Features

Built for real-world exploration.

Everything you need to get people exploring: verify presence, layer game mechanics on the world, reward exploration with real prizes, and keep hundreds of players moving through the same hunt safely.

Verification

You choose how each waypoint is verified.

GPS alone, or GPS plus a marker the player has to find and scan on the spot. Choose waypoint by waypoint and mix both in one hunt.

15 m you
The default

GPS only

Where the phone says it is.

You set up
Nothing. Drop the waypoint on the map.
The player
Steps inside the 15 m circle and taps Verify.
It proves
The phone was at the spot.
Anti-cheat
Basic. Phones that report a faked location are turned away, but a determined cheat can still spoof GPS.
Best for
Family walks, trails across a city, and relaxed hunts where nobody gains from cheating.
GPS geofence
15 m hidden you
Optional

GPS + a marker

Something to find, and proof they're there.

You set up
Hide a QR sticker, NFC tag or BLE beacon inside the circle, with a clue to where it is.
The player
Finds it and scans it. A beacon is picked up hands-free.
In the game
A search on the spot. A marker can hold its own treasure, revealed when it's scanned, and quests can ask players to scan it.
It proves
The player was really there: they found the exact object you hid.
Anti-cheat
Strong. A faked GPS position is not enough, because the marker has to be scanned on the spot.
Best for
Competitive hunts, valuable prizes, and waypoints where the search is the fun.
QR code NFC tag BLE beacon
More relaxedMore to find, harder to cheat
GPS everywhereA walk where the fun is the route.
Mix bothGPS for the stroll, a beacon at the treasure.
A marker on every waypointA search at every stop, and faking GPS is not enough.

Official QR stickers and Bluetooth beacons are available on our store.

Gameplay layer

Turn a walk into a game.

An optional layer of full game mechanics on top of any hunt. Location-only hunts stay first-class.

Quiz & code challenges

Multiple-choice questions or secret passphrases, graded instantly. Challenges can gate a waypoint, hide a treasure's identity until solved, or block a quest, with creator-set retry cooldowns from 1 minute to 24 hours.

Quests with objectives

Storylines discovered as you play: reach a waypoint, scan a marker, collect an item, solve a challenge. Finish the chain to earn rewards: a treasure, an item, an unlocked waypoint, even an early extraction.

Items & inventory

Keys and tools picked up along the way, kept in their own inventory, separate from your treasure backpack. Some challenges only open with the right item in hand.

Clues & logs

Hints reveal themselves as you progress and file into your clue log automatically. Quests get their own quest log, so long hunts stay navigable.

Creators manage everything in dedicated vaults (Progress Markers, Treasures, Challenges and Items) and reuse them across hunts.

The mechanics

Designed for fair, repeatable play.

Built-in limits so a single player can't sweep the map clean of every reward.

15m

Tight 15 m geofence

Players must be physically inside the waypoint to interact: no drive-by scans, no proxy completions.

10

Virtual backpack, 10 slots

Claimed treasures ride in your backpack for the session: returned to the hunt if you time out or abandon, permanently yours only on successful extraction. Then the creator ships the real prize.

1

One reward per waypoint per session

Even with multiple treasures hanging off a waypoint's progress markers, a player can only pocket one per visit. The rest stay in play.

FIFO

FIFO joining queue

Hunts with a participant cap automatically queue new players in arrival order and admit them as slots open.

EBT

Extraction buffer time

When a creator ends an open-ended hunt, every active player gets a buffer window to reach an extraction waypoint and keep their loot.

Extraction waypoints & session duration

Every hunt has at least one exit. Creators can also set a per-player session duration: a personal countdown to extract once you've joined.

Community

Social from the ground up.

Hunts live in a feed, creators build audiences, and every adventure leaves a trail.

Feed & filters

Released hunts appear as rich cards. Filter by gameplay, duration, waypoints, distance from you, participants and rewards still available.

Votes, comments & follows

Upvotes come from players who actually joined. Comment threads with photos, creator profiles with stats, follow and message the creators you like.

Journal

Your personal activity log: hunts joined, waypoints completed, treasures claimed and extracted, day by day.
